Maybe we can hear from other people about this and see if it is wide-spread.You raise a good point about it perhaps being a performance improvement, which I initially thought as well.
Perhaps what you are seeing as a glitch is really a performance improvement? However, if a lot of people have existing code that uses the no-wait approach, I can see where any change in performance would be a problem.
